Wines in the light
We cultivate the vineyard in harmony with its natural balance, and look for the character of the wine in the grapes. We connect our territory with the world, and look ahead, thanks to choices of land cultivation and vineyard processes that are sustainable and respectful of the wonderful environment that hosts us.

The Riguardo
Our first wine – our gamble – started for fun and was produced through our passion.
A harmonious blend of two great grapes: Sangiovese and Merlot. An intense red, macerated on the grape marc for 12 days, aged in a French oak barrels for 12 months and finally in the bottle for six months, for a balance of taste and fragrance which makes it a perfect Tuscan wine with an international flavour.
DESIGNATION: IGT TUSCANY RED

- Grapes: 80% SANGIOVESE, 20% MERLOT
- 14% vol.
- Bottles produced: 7,000 ( 2017), 3,000 (2018)

The Sangiovese
Our Sangiovese embraces all the nuances of the Val d’Orcia. Every bottle encloses the complex character of this UNESCO world heritage landscape
The Riguardo Sangiovese brings together the finest characteristics of the 100% Sangiovese vine variety. The fruits of our vines are picked and ennobled through a patient and strict vinification process involving 14 days of maceration on the grape marc, then the Slavonian oak vats and subsequent ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months, a full year in the bottle and finally, perfection.

The Merlot
An intense, structured and well-balanced red from the highest point of Sce Quiric’s Vineyard
We harvest our Merlot grapes in the first 10 days of September, then macerate them for 6 days at a cold temperature and six days at a natural temperature. The wine ferments in steel vats and is then aged – first in new French oak barrels for 12 months and then for another year in the bottle. The result is a wine with a pleasant fragrance, with red and black cherry overtones.

Rosé
Our surprising sparkling wine – perfect for every occasion.
To obtain a lively and versatile rosé we make an early selection of our Sangiovese grapes that first undergo classic controlled fermentation and are then refermented for 3 months with the Charmat method.
And here is our inimitable spumante!

The Oil
A green bordering on straw yellow oil, with an intense aroma of green grass, a sapid flavour with light spicy notes of pepper.
On our hills we cultivate olives of the Correggiolo, Moraiolo and Leccino varieties. We tend to the olives all year round and pick them by hand when they have reached the perfect level of maturity. The processing is done quickly in order to preserve the persistence and intactness of the flavour and the shades of aroma that make ours a versatile and intense oil.
